"So apparently the Electric Reliability Council....an ironic name for sure.....has been spending billions on wind power in a state with more natural gas than the entire remaining lower 47 states combined.  And lo and behold, they are having rolling blackouts ala California because the turbines are frozen.  Welcome to the New Green Death Deal folks.  How many Texans will freeze to death as a result of this misguided and ineffective policy?  Lots.  How much globaloney will be avoided with unreliable wind and solar power?  None.

This is what happens when your state capitol is a communist city filled with delusional left wing nuts."

Green Energy works in the Blue states because they plan ahead......or maybe the Left is just smarter.

Same reason Miami does not purchase snow plows, expensive to keep and maintain when needed once every 50-100 years.

NY on the other hand has how many snow days a year??

But on average I would bet Texans in nursing homes did better then in NY over the last year - Guess all that Blue thinking ahead by shoving infected elderly into the population of at risk was not such good planning, since they are now under investigation for covering up and undercounting the deaths from their policies.  NY Cuomo is making the calls to get everyone in line by threats to help him cover up his lies and murdering the elderly.

Ill take a few days of power outages vs demonrat policies.

Great point which is rather obvious...so the question  then is why didn't Texas join the grid with the other states as a back up? Could it be they are a Red state and ignorant of the consequences?  Or, just have the mentality that they are better than the other states? That is why we buy insurance.

Easy for you to say you'll take a few days without power...try it with temperatures below freezing and no electricity or wood to burn.

I brought forth a subject worthy of discussion, that’s why I posted it.  Trying to waste our time with your krap about Texas’s stupid investment in dimokrap wind mills is useless.  Texas fell for the likes of AOC type dimo-idiots to jump on the climate warming farce and they got bit...pure and simple.  As for Texas having their own electrical energy grid, it’s their mistake, but I’M kinda glad they were not in ours...we don’t need black outs in Alabama to support wind mills in Texas.

YES, but I escaped from New York before Coumo could kill me.  Got any more worthless, dummy statements.  You’ve tried to post a grand total of 8 comments on this forum and none of them have made any sense.

You jump on Patriot for 8 of his comments that live in your head. You’ve posted a grand total of 3,029 comments on this forum and I counted 11 or maybe 12  of them have made any sense.

So, they ran you out of New York and you settled in Alabama. Just what Alabama needs...a New York Bigot.

Hey, it’s hard to escape from a Coumo run nursing home when he’s intent on killing us.  Guess he saved a bunch of Medicaid cash by reducing those monthly payments!

I am guessing you believe that the rolling blackouts in California are either: a) a result of brilliant planning by the left wing nut run govt; b) all the fault of Republicans in California; or c) all of the above.

been there done that - at least twice here in Alabama with a connected grid.

Blizzard of 93-

Spent 2 weeks without power and 8 days with no water and an additional 4 with boil notices.

melted snow for drinking, bathing and cooking.

Between BBQ grill, Coleman camping equipment and kerosene/camping heaters did just fine.  Had it went another week we would have had to go find additional fuel for the coleman equip or would have started siphoning the premium non-ethanol from my antique car.

is still stupidity and needs to be (1) called out and, (2) corrected.

To paraphrase my mama ''two stupid decisions do not make a right decision.''

Now just for the sake of clarity for MM...The CA energy network is privatly run and loosely regulated in a manner very similar to that of TX.

Makes sense why your mama said two wrong decisions dont make right decisions - it just makes left ones.

It is sad that Antifatech does not get that he just helped make the point.

Now just for the sake of clarity for MM...The CA energy network is privatly run and loosely regulated in a manner very similar to that of TX.

If CA and Texas are very similar and loosely regulated - Texas had problems during a historic snow storm over the most of the country and had power outages.  CA has rolling outages every summer, not just during historic natural disasters - and CA is connected into the grid and can power share, BUT STILL FAILS every summer.

If all things are equivilant, ill take the outage during the disaster vs knowing its coming every year on an annual schedule.

You really want to compare stats with Wix over the most posts / gibberish?
