DOE told Texas in a crisis that they could exceed EPA/DOE limits to pollution at generating plants that were not operating at 100% due to environmental restrictions @ $1500/KWH.  

So bascially told to gouge customers if they wanted to utilize plants at 100% that had not failed or had issues, which could have helped to head off the problem.

Guess bitchin about Ted and his Cancun vacation is not nearly as important as it shows again that over regulation even under a natural disaster was a contributing factor and drops this right on Hiden Bidens Desk.

And as prices at the pump just keep going up, we can expect higher and higher energy costs.
