I don't know why but I check the AC Outlook every day hoping to find some local news.  I am dissapointed daily.  Today the top story is about a new Ice Cream shop opening, somewhere in the Lake Martin area I presume, but wouldn't know from reading the article.  I scanned it the first time looking for location and didn't see it so I figured I missed it.  Went back for a second look and stil have NOT found a location for the new business.  Top of the fold story about a new business, but never tell the reader where that new business is located.  SMH.

Thats our local paper folks.

I agree with you.  The Outlook is bad about providing an address or even recounting news stories.

I just checked again and the article is still up without an address.  They can't say they didn't realize because I emailed the author early this morning.  

This is the body of the email:

Next time you write a puff piece about a new business, how about including the location of said business in the article so your readers know where to patronize said business.  I read the article about the new creamery.  I actually read it three times to make sure I didn't miss the most basic of info that should have been in the piece.

This is just speculation on my part but I think I might have figured out why they refuse to post the address.  I think they were "obligated" to do the feature story on the creamery, but my guess is they couldn't/wouldn't buy very expensive ads across all of the TPI outlets so therefor they spitefully don't print the address.

Just my opinion but I will be checking the new magazines as they hit the rack in the next few days so see if there is a Creamery ad in them.  My bet is not.
