U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz’s vote against a human trafficking bill back in 2017 is popping up on social media following a New York Times report that federal authorities are investigating whether Gaetz violated human trafficking laws.

The New York Times reported based on unnamed sources that the Justice Department is investigating whether Gaetz, a Florida Republican, had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl and paid for her to travel with him.

The big question is will the poster child for the Conservatives once again wear prison orange? Boy, Martini and his buddies sure know who to attach themselves to as their hero. Too bad, Trump won’t be there to give him  a pardon. 

Opps, I forgot he is innocent until proven guilty.

From what I have seen you are probably wrong on this one as well - but like always time will tell.  

On March 25, lawyer Matt Neiman wrote to Florida prosecutors: “My client, Don Gaetz, was approached by two individuals to make a sizable payment in what I would call a scheme to defraud... The FBI is now asking Don to voluntarily and proactively assist in their investigation, which Don is willing to do. Please confirm that your Office and the FBI would like Don’s assistance in this matter and that he will be working at the Government’s request.”

Assistant U.S. Attorney David Goldberg responded: “I can confirm that your client is working with my office as well as the FBI at the government’s request in order to determine if a federal crime has been committed. This has been discussed with, and approved by, the FBI as well as the leadership of my office and components of Main Justice.”

I am not defending him - what I am saying is you are an idiot.  Often in the past you have put out lots of misinformation that over time proves false.  He has denied involvement with someone underage, He went to the FBI because he was being extorted over these alleged facts - he producted a document/email that the FBI has confirmed he went to them and was working with them to assist in the investigation of around 3 people  - please see the 2nd paragraph in my previous response starting with Assistant US Attorney......

I am just adding to the facts of your "case" - that he went to the FBI, that information has been documented, he was coorporating with the FBI looking into three people who were extorting money from him.  He has texts and documents that have been put online showing that someone was attempting to get 25 million out of him.

Please see your histronics about Russia, Trump, Mueller time, Kavanaugh etc etc etc regarding how you copied hit pieces from the liberal media which turned out as full of chit as you are.

Sadly we have seen you do this all too often.  One would think you would learn by now that a lot of the "facts" that you get from the DNC media are pure agenda driven BS.

Matt Gaetz of Florida, sources familiar with the events told The New York Times the Florida lawmaker took ecstasy, an illicit drug at some point in 2019 or 2020, while he was serving in the House of Representatives. 

The Times report, which was published Thursday, cited several unnamed sources who said Gaetz paid women via cash apps. Sources told The Times the women said they were paid for sex. Gaetz has denied ever paying for sex and said that all of the allegations against him are false.

Two sources familiar with the alleged sexual encounters told The Times that some people involved, including Gaetz, used ecstasy beforehand.

But during his time in the Florida state legislature, Gaetz advocated for requiring recipients of public assistance to undergo and pass a drug test” I strongly support drug-testing for welfare recipients. Applying for welfare is voluntary, if you don't want to get tested don't apply," Gaetz said in a tweet in March 2011. At the time, he was serving in the Florida House of Representatives."

One would think given the last four years that using the terms "facts" and "unnamed sources" in the same sentence would be a tad risky.  But then again, when you don't care about truth and only about the ends justifying the means you will post anything.  Goofy, unlike you I will wait for actual facts.....like we waited for Hunter Biden to admit that it "could" be his laptop, something that would have gotten him banned from Fakebook and Twitter a year ago, well maybe not him.....but it would for the rest of us. Or maybe we wait for the facts on the crisis at border with illegal kids being dumped into hellhole conditions by coyotes dropping them over fences.  Or maybe wait for the facts that our President is operating with half his brain.  Or the facts that the job numbers are out of this world but somehow they think we need another $2T in debt.
