Am not going to speculate on the reason or if it is cause and effect - just something I have noticed over the last 30+ years.

Anyone else notice that the more "gun control" is in the news that the number of shootings are always on the rise/higher body counts  ( or at least reported more ?)  I get the CNN slogan "if it bleeds it leeds, as well as the idea if it fits the narrative of the day it will get hyped may feed into the probability of it getting more news coverage.

Interesting!!  When I posted this on the Forum this morning, there had been no announcements as to who the mass murderer was, his intent, etc., so I must admit I took a chance of being damned for life by our dimokraps if the killer had been conservative, but I went ahead because the pattern was so typical of a dimokrap mentally deranged, suicidal, idiot.  It’s really a shame that these events are so predictable.

Boy, that was a switch from the killings to oil prices. My concern is how did he obtain the rifle he used in the killings? 

I don't worry about gas prices...Biden's improving economy creates the demand  for more oil. 560,000 dead from the Trump Virus also reduced demand. And, the Saudi's reduced production. Prices fell because there was much less demand for the product due to curfews. Now, we are out traveling thanks to the Biden government.

When I realized the price was going to increase, I bought Exxon at 47. Since buying, it hit 62 and now at 57. If it falls to 55, I am out. Will use profit to fill my tank. The Left invests while the Right bitches about gas prices. Nothing ever changes...the Right blames their misery index on the Left....maybe the Right needs to man up and take charge of their well being and stop waiting for the govenment to implement price controls. Trump destroyed the economy with his lies on the Virus and Biden is slowly showing progress. Check the stock market dude.

Simple - after passing a background check("Police said that a trace of the two guns revealed that Hole legally bought the rifles in July and September last year. ")  he bought the guns.  This is after his family turned him in, had a gun confiscated and was on the FBI's radar.

So after having been reported to cops as having issues, wanted to commit suicide by cop, having a gun confiscated, placed on a temporary mental hold in the nut house - he still passed a background check.

Same reason that the drug fueled Hunter Biden was able to pass the background check to purchase the pistol he kept in his truck, and his wife/bothers wife/something stole it and tossed it in the trash can by a school without any issues what so ever.

The man who shot up an Indianapolis FedEx facility and killed eight people was reportedly part of a bizarre internet subculture obsessed with “My Little Pony.”

Posts on 19-year-old Brandon Hole’s since-taken-down Facebook page appear to indicate he was a member of the “Bronies” community — a group of mostly adult men who are extreme fans of the kiddie toys and animated television show, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Some members are sexually attracted to the characters, while the group also has allegedly displayed far-right tendencies.

“I hope that I can be with Ap­ple­jack in the af­ter­life, my life has no mean­ing with­out her,” Hole wrote on his Facebook page at 10:19 p.m. Thursday, less than an hour before his rampage began, the outlet reported.

The name Brony is a mashup between “bro” and “pony” — and the group has a history of extremist tendencies, the outlet said, citing an internal Facebook memo they reviewed that detailed the post. 

“Brony on­line cul­ture has dis­played el­e­ments of far-right and white na­tion­al­ist ex­trem­ism,” the memo stated.

In addition, the majority of the fans of My Little Pony, called "bronies", are peace-loving, non-political people who just enjoy the show itself and congregate in conventions to show their support for it. I have figured it all out now - you know what all extremeists have in common?  A need for oxygen to breathe.  We just need to be on the lookout for people who need air, maybe if we hold them under water on some kind of device we can determine if they need to breathe and if they do not then they can not be extremists.
