Algae bloom ?

Hi,
I was planning to visit Pine Flat this weekend , but my dad says the Lake is unusually blue/green right now... Does anyone know if it looks like an Algae bloom ? Or does anyone know if water is tested ? I was planning to bring my dogs, but not sure if it is safe to let them in the water.... Any advice is appreciated
