I guess no one like my idea about the bass club, or had any info on that sort of thing. If you didnt see it, here it is again.
I know i have seen a few post about fishing tournments on the lake but dont think anyone had an answer. I would love to get involved in some on the lake, even at night. If no one is running any around the lake why dont we get something started. Nothing big, just something for fun that could maybe grow into something bigger. We would not count out people with suped up john boats or any other type of boat that they have access to. I think it would be fun and Lake Martin needs its own bass club. If anyone is interested or has any better ideas let me know and we will get this ball rollin e-mail me or make a post, i check both all the time.

Am not an avid fisherman, per se, however there are numerous fishing tournaments on Lake Martin each year and I believe all start out of Wind Creek State Park
Do not know if this list is up-to-date, but this might help you.
See link below.

I am from Seale Al. just down the road and fish Martin all the time. Instead of a club why not just get a list of people and their e-mail who would be interested in some pot tournaments for a small amount, maybe 20.00 per boat, 5.00 big fish, figure some percentage so you can pay more than 1 place , Like 5 boats 1 pay, 5 to 10 , 1st and 2nd pay, 10 to 15 1st.2nd 3rd. E-mail the ramp you want to use each time and time to be there and see how many show up. Of course you would need some scales for weigh-in. You could use the partner system or the draw system. You could also post this on other forums. I know a few.

i'm all for it!! We need to get everyone who is interested together and start the ball rollin. So i guess if you want to get on board make a post or e-mail me or Lakeman. I would like to get this off the ground as soon as possible, or at least get a pot tourny together.
