I live in Montgomery and have a home in Windermere West. I drive to the lake via Wetumpka, Hwy 170 and Hwy #63. Anyone know where along that route might I buy minnows?

Jim's bait shop is out of your way, but he has it all

It is amazing to see how far Jim's Bait shop has come in the last few years. He has a great selection of fishing stuff in there. They are very nice people too.

Instead of turning off 63 to go to Windemer, go straight and about 7miles down the road you will see Ourtown gas station. They sell minnows crickets, worms, shinners etc. That is where I get mine. I also live in the Windemer area.

Try Wetumpka Fish and Game where you turn off to 170. I used to buy minnows there, but I haven't bought any for several years. Check it out and see if they still sell minnows.
