Does anyone know what the little things are in the water that look and swim like a tiny jellyfish? We noticed them in schools over in the Sandy Creek area Sat. and Sun. They are the size of a quarter and look just like a saltwater jellyfish.

We saw what are probably the same creatures on Sunday in Sandy Creek, but only a couple of them. I did a bit of research and would direct you to an Indiana University web site. It appears that we may have these fresh water jelly fish in Lake Martin. http://www.jellyfish.iup.edu/

We were at the dam this weekend and saw lot's of these critters. They were in the middle and about the size of a dime.
