Have you ever just wanted to hop on the boat and take a slow cruise around ? Have you ever invited someone to take a cruise with you ? If you answered yes and you had a drink with you, you probably broke the law. But where should the line be drawn, when it comes to alcohol and boating ? If your taking a bunch of folks on a slow ride on a pontoon boat I personallly think a beer or two or a mixed drink would be fine. However if your in one of these fishin boats, wave runners, or any other water craft, hauling *ss, you should be alcohol free.

I agree that 2 or 3 beers, or 1 or 2 drinks shouldn't make you a criminal. Especially if you are just putting around at a snails pace. Being impaired by alcohol is another thing entirely, and unfortunately, too many people don't know their limit.
