With the low levels I expected to see the water patrol in full force. I didn't see them once this weekend maybe they had been pulled away to Smith or something ,just thought that was unusual, to be able to go from the dam to Stemley bridge without seeing those guys.

We went down and floated by the cliffs at Lincoln Harbor on Sunday and the patrol was there going from PWC to Boat to PWC. We saw them pull over 5 people in the hour or so we were there. That was about 4-5pm and we talked to a few people that had gotteen tickets or been inspected,
Did any of you see the write up in Fridays maybe Saturdays paper about "Kim" patrolling the Logan Martin Waterways? Good article but just seems like soneone with a chip on her shoulder, I have met Adam and he seems pretty cool or was that day anyway,

She acts that way on the water too. She once pulled our pontoon over just so she could give our kids coupons to McDonalds because they all had their vest on. This sounds great, but she was barking orders about stopping and being totally evasive right up to the point where she said, "well i pulled you over to give you something......long pause...... coupons for the kids".
I was relieved to not be getting a ticket for anything, didn't deserve one anyway, but we slightly miffed about how she talked to us right up to the point of giving the kids the coupons. The kids were totally freaking out right up to that point, scared to death.
My friend who grew up on Logan and lives there now, says she is always grumpy like that.

I didn't make it down until Monday - I was planning on being there the whole weekend. I didn't ever see the water patrol, but I did see the game wardens checking fishing boats. They seemed to hang around the old red barn & house at the mouth of Rabbit Branch (Pier 59 area). Maybe I can run across you guys soon. I know one thing, I'm going to be going
slowwwww until we get more water!
