My family has rented a lake house on Lake Martin for this coming week. I have never been to Lake Martin but truly looking forward to it. Are their some fishermen/women out there that would share some of their secerts on this lake for bass fishing. I really want to get into a lot of bass. Does not have to be big ones, just alot. If not, what about other species right now? I will be staying near bay pine marina area. Thanks in advance for the guidance. It will be information well used.
If I can ever return the favor of Walleye or Bass fishing on Lake Erie I will.

Ever fish Lake Chautauqua up your way?

We will be down at Bay Pine Island for the long holiday weekend. This is across from the area where you are staying. The marina closed this season due to the water levels. As you are going out of the slew there is an area of rocks on the left. This is a favorite fishing spot as well as just off the point. Look to your right. Just back from the next point to your right is a favorite fishing spot. The water is so low in most areas. You will find that you have more water where you are than most people in slews however. It's a great time or shoreline bonfires and the beauty of the trees changing. We hope you enjoy your stay. You can still get gas at the River North Marina and at Chucks from what I understand.

My son says that if you have a boat, he will be glad to show you the lake and bass fish with you. He's planning for bass and catfish. he caught 2 bass today.
