Can everyone that would be interested in a meet and greet at one of the lakeside hangouts please list your name and whether Friday - Saturday - or Sunday would work best and also if you have a favorite spot that everyone can meet at.

I am in and I like Pier 59's food and Cleer Creek Marina but that is all because it is accessible and no more than 10 minutes from the house.

Everyone please try and attend!

Steve

Pier 59 is good for me too - it's just around the bend by boat, and only a few miles by car... convenient either way. Saturday is better for me as well.

Where is pier 59? I know where the eating place is at Clear Creek but don't where pier 59 is.

If you are headed towards the dam, you go past where Clear Creek is on the left and follow around the next bend and into the small channel that has the red house on the island with no road. Once past that a little ways in you will see some older house boats on the left with a small white building past them.

It has a decent size deck we could all eat and drink on.

How is the food at Pier 99? We just bought a place this summer right around the bend from it, but I haven't been there yet. We've been eating a good bit at Clear Creek (great food!) but it's getting a little old. I was wondering what other good options are around and accessible by boat? I know Pier 99 is a bar too, is it real smokey if you just go there to eat?

The food is great, we have had grilled chicken salads, buffalo wings/ tenders, hamburgers, crab claws and everything has allways been top notch.

Please don't judge the food on how the place looks and it is a very good idea to make your first trip there during the day light because after dark it gets very interesting to say the least, My wife and myself have taken our kids to eat for lunch and even for dinner on the deck until about 9 or so and would do it again.

I guess what I am saying is don't have any high expectations about anything but the food and drinks. When we all meet would be a great time to hang out and see the place with a few people you know or will know.

Where is you place, we bought a place across the main channel in the slough before school bus island.

Welcome
Steve

Man, we need to get some food places up river. I love taking the boat to eat on the river, but with all of the kids, that's a long boat ride down there from Stemley bridge for them just to eat.

With such a long boat ride you can always drive and meet everyone down there. it would be about a 15-20 minute drive, it is about 5 minutes from Alpine Bay golf course up the dam road.

It would be worth the trip down by boat to eat and ride back about sunset or to eat lunch on Saturday, they are not open on Sunday.
