Hello, I did not know this forum was here. I frequent Lake Martin forum. Several are visiting Logan Martin Lake this weekend. I noticed the water level is about 3 feet down. Does this effect the lake very much? We have never been there, and are looking foreward to visiting. Any info is appreciated.

Depending on where you put in it should not affect you at all.

The water has been down about 3 feet since the end of May and it has not prevented us from doing much. Others on here are having troubles in their slough but in general the main channel and some of bigger areas like Clear Creek and Rabbit Branch you can get back there just fine.

People on the forum have planned to get together at Pier 59 Saturday around lunch and you guys should come down and meet us.

We are putting in at Lakeside Landing. Where ever that is. Is that close to Pier 59?

It is about a 15-20 minute boat ride depending on speed towards the dam.

Lakeside has a deep water boat launch so you should have no problem launching.

Let me know if you need directions to Pier 59, they have great food and we will be there around lunch.

We will be traveling with three other boats, and meeting a local friend (32' Fountain) that lives there. I am sure he will know where it is. Thanks, and if you see a purple and yellow and white cat, wave.

It looks like I'll be able to make it. My wife & 2 kids will be with me in a blue & white 19' Glastron if it's not pouring down. We'll go by car if it is.

They've got a deep ramp and won't have any problems putting in. From that part of the lake down toward the dam it's deeper than up river so you won't have any problems getting around down there.

Steve

I have talked to your friend with the 32' Fountain when we were hanging out around the cliffs.

We are always in a blue Supra wakeboard boat. If we don't see you at lunch then probably run into you around the cliffs.

Steve, where exactly are the cliffs?

Lincoln Harbor where the rocks are and eventually Lincoln Harbor will extend to that part. If you are not sure where Lincoln Harbor is it is the last turn before you get to Stemley Bridge. if you are looking at the Cliffs, Lincoln Harbor is on the left and Stemley Bridge is in the distance directly behind you.

Thanks... I know where you are talking about now. I've heard of the cliffs for a long time, but never actually been there. We'll ride up & check them out this weekend.

Sometimes a few sometimes alot of boats anchor and hangout/swim/jump and it is generally a good spot to people/boat watch.

See you tomorrow!!!!

No, bought it used from GA.

It could have been the wife and kids but I would have been somewhere nearby, maybe doin flips off the cliff,,,,,,,,,,just kidding. But seriously we do have 3 kids 10-14-15 and if any friends show it adds up.

We are here most weekends and enjoy meeting and talking to folks so track us down and we can hang out with or with out kids.

Steve
