Hey everyone, I know this question has been asked before but I am up on Blue Eye creek and let me tell you if you don't know the creek you are not getting out to the main channel. Anyway, would someone tell me where Pier59 is or how far north from the dam it is or how far south/north from the civic center and any other good restaurants there are up and down the lake and if they are accessible by boat. I have to say I have enjoyed reading all your posts and have learned a lot about Logan Martin from reading them....I have a 20 ft Odyssey Pontoon(tan with black designs and a brown canopy top) with a 75hp Honda 4 stroke so if any of you see me riding around flag me down I sure would like to meet some of you.

Pier 59 is apprx 3-4 miles from the dam on the Pell City side. I am not sure of the miles from the Civic Center but going 20 or so mph headed toward the dam it will take about 15 minutes or so from the big houses on the corner.

We try and go just about everytime we are there and the food is great.

Right now it looks like none of our kids will be coming to the lake and we are trying to make sure they are taken care of before we make any solid plans for us but I would guess that we may be at Pier 59 around sunset for dinner. if not we will be on the lake most of the day Saturday and Sunday and will ride down by this Cliffs at some point to just hang out and swim.

We will be in a blue wakeboard boat and always enjoy meeting new people on the lake, we are almost ready to celebratee our 1 yr anniversary on the lake.

Where is Blue Eye Creek?

Blue eye is right after you go under the I 20 bridge to the right. He is right, it can be tricky getting in and out of there especially with the water as low as it is.

We just rode from Stemley Bridge to Pier 59. They don't open till 3. But Clear Creek was good as ever.

The way I found Pier 59 is by the blue roof and the big house boats. Theres a red house on an island at the inlet to get to Pier 59.

Great day for a boat ride. A bit warm but the lake is almost deserted.

Peace,
<><

Wow, that would be a good haul down to the Dam from up there. Probably 30 minutes or so in a pontoon for sure.

Up on your end you can go the Ark. Have to walk about 100 yards from the pier on the lake up to the restaurant, but of course worth it.
