Well, looking at the APCO lake level this morning I think I will have to get up to the lake tonight and finally pull the pontoon out before I can't. The ski boat has already been "on the bank" most of the summer and it looks like the 'toon is at the end of it's life cycle for this year.
Quite frankly I'm surprised we made it this long.
It's funny when you have a place and you have to pull the boats out, you don't feel like dragging them to a launch.

I know what you mean, My boat has been in the shop this weekend I may just go get it so i can get an evening ride out of the deal, but i'm not really ready to pull it out for good yet. David

Mine is still tied to the pier. But, I had to rig spring lines up and move it so far out in the water. It's a heck of a step from the pier to the sun pad on the boat but without it, we couldn't even swim. We have to climb up the ladder on the boat because the ladder on the pier is over 6 inches out of the water.
I was gonna move it to my neighbors floating pier but I hate to not be able to swim since it's so warm.
I'll be gone till Wednesday. I hope it rains while I'm gone.

APCO web site has it at 460.85 tonight!!
I barely got mine out tonight, had to put on the swim trunks and drag it a ways with me walking it out before I could get it going out of the slew.
Had to take it up to Poorhouse to get it out. By the middle of the week I probably would have not been able to drag it out of there. Friend of mine at goat island said he was floating yesterday, on the bottom today and stuck. Glad I got mine out tonight.

We're going on a family vacation, and won't be back at the lake until Labor Day weekend. We'll play it by ear as far as boating, but we'll definately enjoy the lake one more good time. Sad to see how time has passed so quickly, but at least maybe next year will bring full pool back.
