there is a gas station, very narrow, shallow inlet, just past the railroad tracks. past the 1-20 bridge, on the left. there is also a place to eat/drink near there, within walking distance of the water. the water stays deep all the way till about a half mile of neely henry dam. dont go closer, made that costly mistake.

We are going to flip a coin in about 30 minutes to see which way we are going.....

I went down below the dam to look at the boat launch and now I am curious as to whats down there but will post in a few if we head up river.

Thanks for the info,,,,,,whenever the water comes back up(probably next year) we have talked about taking the pontoons with the seadoos in tow and going up to the Neely dam. We planned on doing that this year but the water dropped suddenly and fast and would rather enjoy the scenery than watch the water for low spots.

I'm in for that too. Tried to do it Thursday. I think it would be loads of fun, especially with a group.

Thundering now but nothing falling from the sky yet. Come on rain!

IF YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER BEEN TO MARTIN, YOU CAN RIDE ALL DAY AND NOT SEE HALF OF THE LAKE...IT'S VERY NICE BUT OVERCROWDED AND OVERPRICED IN MY OPINION..
