Ok So.......

We put the Seadoos in at Kelly Creek and rode and rode and rode and........

We went past the 4h club about 2 miles or more........

How close did we come to your place???

It was a nice ride, we kind of crusied down and came back a little faster but all in all it was a nice ride, much different than Logan Martin.

I would not mind boating down but after a long day I think I would want to pull out down there somwhere.

Anyone else ever done that?

We would do it again if anyone else wants to take a trip.......

Steve

I THINK YOU'D BE LESS WORN OUT IF YOU'D DRIVE TO WILSONVILLE OR COLUMIBANA AND PUT IN..IT'D BE A LOT FURTHER OF A DRIVE BUT YOU'D BE CLOSER TO THE HAPPENING END OF THE LAKE....

I GATHER THIS RAMP YOU USED WAS NEAR LM DAM, IF SO YOU GUYS COULD RIDE FOR A WHILE BEFORE YOU GOT TO THE HALFWAY POINT..LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU DO IT AGAIN AND I'LL MEET YOU SOMEWHERE..

SORRY, I JUST READ YOUR POST MORE CAREFULLY..IF YOU WENT PAST THE 4H CLUB 2 MILES YOU WERE AT THE HALFWAY POINT..YOU WERE ABOUT 4 MILES PAST MY PLACE...IF YOU NOTICED WHERE SHELBY CO. IS BUILDING A WATER RX PLANT ON THE RIGHT, THEN I'M IN THE NEXT SLOUGH ON THE LEFT, A RED BOAT HOUSE WITH A SMILEY FACE IS ON THE MAIN CHANNEL AND I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SLOUGH, LONG T-SHAPED PIER....

We knew it would be a long ride but we prepared for it and it was actually an enjoyable ride. Where we put in is about 1+ miles below the dam.

I would not mid making the same journey again, it was actually pretty neat to go from the deep woods down to where some pretty nice areas on your lake are.

Chris and I mentioned skiing and boarding down the deserted parts of the river and yes there are some great places to go down but I think that I would want to put the boats in drive the trailers down to wilsonville and then come back to board because after a long day on the water I want to pull out and clean up and not have to drive and hour or so just to get to the trailer.

Our Seadoos have sensors that tell the water temp, after we passed the steam plant the temp rose almost 6 degrees, and when we jumped in sevral miles down it was uncomfortably warm. Does the warm water bother you or do you just get used to it?

Sorry for the long post

NAH, THE WATER'S NOT BAD..THE SURFACE TEMP IS BAD SOMETIME BUT WAIST LEVEL IS COOL..BETTER THAN THE POOL ON THESE 100 DEGREE DAYS..WE TRIED HEAD TO THE ROCK AT ABOUT 2:30 AND GOT CAUGHT IN A HELLUVA STORM..NO ROCK JUMPING TODAY...
