I am so curious about what is lying beneath the waters surface, and as the lake drops to the lowest level in years, I want to explore and make the best of it. There have already been several things sticking up out of the water that I would like to see removed the perfect example is an old metal post. I also want to take pictures, so the next time someone asks about the three bouys at griffit bend, and what the hazard is, I can simply send a picture. As bad as it is there will be a few of us getting out enjoying it in a new light.

I hate that launching is becoming such a problem for you guys, and don't get me wrong I want to see it come back up so we can all continue to enjoy the lake and all it has to offer. Be careful.......................David

I am with you David, I had turned my dismay of the water levels to hey I hope it drops another 2ft like they had predicted. I thought well we can find all of the sunglasses that got knocked off of the pier. I can move all of the rocks I kick when swimming and in general get the trash off of the bottom of the lake since I can see it.

Rumor was that APCO was going to lower the lake 2ft this week and even on their website they said that the level would go down to 456......by Sept 12. Then they changed it to 457...Then 458 by the 15th.

Now the almighty APCO has put on their website that it will stay within a few inches of where it is now until the 19th, So what has changed in the past 2 weeks?

Why have their predictions gone up by 2+ft????

We have had no extra rain the last holiday of the Summer is gone and there is no reason to stop the bleeding so what gives????

Oh and by the way Dave I still have intentions of meeting you and having a drink or beer or something before it gets chilly......

David, I may know of a Pontoon that is or will be for sale for 5-6k.

The guy told me about it because he heard me talking about wanting one. I am holding off until next year before I get toy happy, We have spent a bunch of bucks this past year.

Also is Grifft Bend on the right before the Dam? Where you go around the Island (not really but a long extension of land) and then there are 2 large (and old) posts that you have to pass to the right and then it opens up?

Are you back that way?

Other Steve.

Where the two old posts are : Treadwell island is on the right.. Even getting through there with a wave runner right now is treturous ( that spelling don't look right " I have noticed people walking them through that little pass recently. started to take a little ride yesterday on the old w/runner, but got lazy. Hope to be out on the water today around 1 or so.

And yes to the get together, The weather is so nice i could and sometimes do just sit and look out across the lake thinking of all the things I should be doing.

David
