Some talking heads are predicting the two best 2 loss teams in a rematch in the Orange Bowl.
Roanoke Times, November 28.....The Orange could use its at-large pick to select No. 4 Georgia (10-2), the team that beat the Hokies in last year's Chick-fil-A. Orange CEO Eric Poms said his bowl wouldn't be opposed to a Chick-fil-A rematch. He said nonchamps of the Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-10 are also under consideration. He isn't too interested in Hawaii.
First things first, the Hokies play for the ACC title this Saturday, 12:00 noon Central on ABC. The ACC has a multi-year deal with the Orange Bowl. Regardless, the #6 Hokies (10-2) will be playing in their 15th consecutive bowl game after completing 4 consecutive seasons with at least 10 wins.
A Chikin Sandwich rematch would be a great one, however, it may be Roses for UGA if OSU goes to the BCS title game. Kansas or Missouri would be the likely Orange Bowl at large bid.
