So just to get some dust off this forum..............

Who has heard that the water will be 10ft lower by New Years and its all APCO fault?

I heard that the dam had a problem around 2 of the turbines and to work on them they would have to lower the lake 10ft to accomplish this and it may take 1 year to repair.

I also heard that once the water is lowered that Talladega Super Speedway was going to build a dirt track up around the I20 bridge to help bring revenue in from the lack of people buying gas for their boats.

I also heard that once the water comes back up in April or May that we would be complaining about the gas prices again and not even remember the problems we are having now.

What have you heard?

Yes I am kidding about everything I have heard............

Except for the part about complaining about gas prices when the water comes back up.

I will be at the lake next Friday cutting grass and rakeing leaves if anyone wants to volunteer to do it for me.

Dude, I haven't been home enough to hear anything. I've been leaving before the sun comes up and getting home after dark almost everyday. Not even sure there is a lake there anymore. The only thing I have seen is fog.

Procrastinating about Christmas shopping

Would rather go to the lakehouse rake leaves, cut grass and weedeat one last time than shop actually.

be glad when the end of January gets here so I can start getting in shape for summer. I have been one lazy *** since my 40th Bday in October.
