We are leaving the peace and beauty of The Lake - headed to New Orleans to watch Hawaii put those Dawgs "on a leash"!!!

Anybody who didn't see that whooping coming doesn't know much about football. Just because you go 12-0 with the easiest schedule in football doesn't mean you're going to be able to handle a good SEC team, and Georgia2007 is considerably better than just "good." (And don't brag about beating Bama a few years ago, that Bama team lost nine games, almost everybody they played beat them.)
I wasn't surprised to see Arkansas lose today, considering the coaching turmoil and that they were playing a mad team with something to prove. Florida embarrassed the SEC today, though.

We really put a 'whippin' on Hawaii!!! With the lose that Flordia had, UGA with be ranked # 1 for season 2008......GO DAWGS

I believe Georgia would have put that same whooping on almost any team last night.....including most in the SEC .
Hawaii had a great year and should be proud of their team and I'm not looking forward to meeting Georgia this fall. War Eagle.

Hawaii didn't even deserve to be in a bowl game. People said they should play for the ntl. champs., PLEASE!!!!!!! Go home Hawaii and play in your second tier conference-you suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vatech - you weren't kidding! It WAS a long ride home. Traffic was the worst I have seen! You would have thought New Orleans was evacuating for another hurricane. There were that many people on the road and they were driving extremely carelessly and at highway speeds. There were quite a few accidents. We were actually ran off the road - someone decided they wanted to exit off the highway from the left lane all the way across at 70 miles an hour. We were blessed that we had enough of the exit ramp to swerve off the highway out of his way and not go into a ditch. My handsome husband, who is used to driving in this nasty kind of traffic and is never bothered by it, was very stressed by the time we got home.
Traffic aside, I am sorry Hawaii did not have a better game. However, I am still pleased they had the opportunity to go! I know they were honored to get to play such a fine team as GA!
