pretty silly since his final BCS vote was Hawaii ahead of UGA and especially considering SEC coaches need to stick together. He really is a good coach but why does he do these goofy things?

I recall a bit of an uproar in these parts in 2004 when Mark Richt continually voted Auburn behind all of the other undefeated teams, and maybe a few defeated teams as well. But I guess SEC coaches weren't supposed to "stick together" back then?

that's right them I would disagree with that too unless of course AU was way down in the rankings. I would think you couldn't be too obvious.

First, Tuberville does not vote in the BCS. He votes in the Coaches Poll, which is a component of the BCS. And the only reason I mention that is so I can say this:

ME-- 1
MythBuster-- ZERO
(Since that is the sort of thing MB usually mentions.)

MB is right about the voting in 2004 though. In the final pre-bowl poll, Richt voted Auburn down around #7, which means he put them behind at least two teams with losses. That was overshadowed by the Arizona coach's vote, though, since he had Auburn in the teens. (The fact that his brother is the Oklahoma coach probably didn't influence his vote at all. RIGHT.)

So maybe Tuberville was feeling some sympathy towards an undefeated team who wasn't going to get to play for a title, or maybe he was just doing what Richt had done to him a few years before. Either way, it's not something that Georgia fans need to get holier-than-thou about, since Richt has been known to do the same thing.
