Yep, they got stomped! And that's putting it mildly! Georgia played one of the best games I have ever seen them play. They were amazing and deserved to win! The area we sat in had fans for both teams. I think we confused many of them for applauding the DAWG's performance and for cheering for Hawaii. I may be a Hawaii grad and a devoted fan, but I am also a fan of the DAWG;s as they are my state's team!

The Warriors didn't win, but I am still proud of them! They (yes, with a guy named June) have come a long way and are truly becoming a team that Hawaii can be proud of. They were honored to be asked to participate in the game, excited to play a fantastic team and are looking forward to next year's season.

I"m not going to mention the coach's name but I'm glad you had a good time. Did you get your Cafe au lait and beignet at Cafe du Monde?

We did make it to at Cafe du Monde. Just can't go to New Orleans and not "do" Cafe du Monde. We got there just before the morning rush - good thing. There were hundreds lined up to get in. 4 separate lines feeding into the building from every corner. We enjoyed the Cafe au lait and beignet so much, it looked like it had snowed on us. It sure was good!!!!

I have been to 3 Sisters (amazing place), didn't make it this time. Have not been to the others. Would love to hear your input on those. Couldn't get into Mother's, one of my favs..... line too long and too cold outside.

I should have asked you earlier but is the Central Grocery up and running? I always keep a supply of their Olive salad but I'm running low since Katrina. Did you know they invented the Muffaletta which of course uses their olive salad? You like the beignets for breakfast? Try their Muffaletta for lunch....
