I was looking at last Feb's levels and we didn't hit the level we are currently at until the last two weeks of March last year. I guess the reduced flows the Governor and APCO fought for have worked for the most part.
Will be interesting to see if we get to full pool in April again like last year.

I will ba suprised if we get to full pool this year. They are saying the new winter level is 462 and we have not seen that yet. I do not mean to be so negative.

Well, given some level of tolerance I think we've been at that level for a while now. Since Jan. 2nd it's been within 1/2 foot of 462. Full pool is 465 and it hardly ever reaches that exactly. It hovers around 464.5 for the most part.
APCO's web site states, "To conserve water in the ongoing drought, Logan Martin elevation will be approximately 2 feet above normal winter pool of 460 through mid April.".
So I believe we have indeed been running at approximately 462 since January 1. The interesting thing is to see what happens at "mid April".

I was there at River's Edge marina yesterday (Sunday) & we have water in our slew, but not enough to get a boat to any of the piers. Even so, we DO have water. I couldn't say that last year at this time. We'll still get plenty of use out of our water toys this year, but we might have to tie them at the marina instead of our pier... I can deal with that, considering the drought we've had. Everyone be safe, and we'll catch you on the water soon.

enough water under my pier to float the fishing boat. Will need some more for the pontoon. For me doesnt matter I cant be there right now anyhow. But I can think about it and dream about it what might be. Be safe.

I agree, if I had time i would be able to do everyything I was doing last year in August. It was the last couple of weeks of September where it was more of a parking issue than anything.
In a few weeks it will be spring and time to start planning my life around the lake instead of the lake around my life as it is from November to March.
Sure do miss it.

I miss it badly. My kids keep asking when we can go for a boat ride & stay at the lake for an extended period of time. The funny thing is, I'm just as antsy as they are! It won't be long now. Be safe.
