I live in the Blue Creek area on a large slouth. There are fish breaking the water in a manner of trout sipping. Cannot see them to identify them. Anybody got any idea what they are and how to catch them on a fly rod?

Could be spotted bass or stripers hitting minnows on the surface. Don't know much about fly fishing but if they are stripers you better hold on!!!!

Do not appear to be to hitting on minnows or shad. Just a small rise breaking the surface slightly. Any Ideas????

These are probably carp or gar. Both tend to feed by sipping or slowly rolling on the surface for a couple of hours in the morning. I do a lot of fly fishing but have never targeted either fish with a fly. Try a small fly thats yellow that floats and chum the area with corn.
