I have received a couple of calls from friends at the lake saying the storm was pretty bad last night around Pell City.

Other Other Steve got a call from his neighbor about trees being uprooted and twisted in his yard and he is on his way to check on that.

My neighbor said only a few limbs were down and that downtown Pell City had roofs and misc wind damage.

If you dont live at the lake you may want to check with a neighbor to make sure no damage has occured that may sit for days or weeks before something is done to minimalize the damage.....

I went out to put the pc in the truck during the pre storm light show,returned to the house to retrieve the camera i had forgotten and before i turned around .....A wall of water was falling, drove about 300 ft then had to stop, and wait for the rain to slackup enough to proceed, otherwise it would have been like driving blindfolded. ( rather than ruin the camera I just left it ) In the 30 ft i had to run to the truck I got completly drenched. Hair dripped all the way to chelsea. That was about 3:15 this morning when I left.

I just got out to check out the damage. Their is a lot around the civic center. From Celebrations on 231 acroos to the civic center. Saw a couple of hoses tore up pretty bad on 231 south around this area. Please keep these peaple in youre prayers.
