Let me set the scene for you...
Last Saturday morning
8am
Temp 33
Winds 15-30mph (it was rattling the windows and doors of the house)
Wind chill -75 (well - they say "feels like" don't they?)
Wintry mix of sleet and snow obscures half the lake.

Now that you have that picture firmly planted in your brain...

Picture this:
Two bass boats with 2 passengers apiece - FOUR total idiots - fishing.

Even I - in my most dimwitted moments - wouldn't consider getting out in that.

I waited until Sunday to ski.

The water couldnt have been more than 4-5 degrees warmer Sunday.....

I will say though that I fully expect to hit the boards this weekend several times.

Makes almost as much sense as sitting in a rain or snow storm to watch a football game doesnt it?

Or

Ride a board behind a boat.

Or

Sit in sweltering sun and watch a race at Talledega when one could sit at home and see it on TV

I will bet you five to your ten those folks like fishing
