Hello,

There is a slew just south of Stemley Bridge before you get to Lincoln Harbor. The was an old, nasty looking fish camp on one side that has recently burned down. Does anybody know what happened, or have any information on the future of that property?

Thanks -

Hi,

I'm new to this board and just saw your message. I think I can shed some light. I live around the corner from that nasty old place. A group of homes around there bought the property. They plan to put a community pier and boat storage there.

Did you know they found a couple of dead bodies there about 8 years ago? The place always gives me the creeps. I'm glad it's gone.

Hey, I just saw your post. I am so glad that place is gone too! We live right across the slough from it and it is such an eyesore. Did anyone actually live there? Dead bodies??? I can't tell my kids that one or they'd never want to stay at our place! I hope they do something about the toilets strewn all over the place too! It is actually a nice piece of property - we were hoping someone would build a nice house there. But we'll take boat storage over that old camp. It was nasty.

I can't agree more. Yes bodies. It was a big mystery. Never identified. They apparently were pulled out of the lake and stashed there. No one lived there at that time. We live down the right hand side. Looks like we are neighbors of a sort.

Good to meet the neighbors! Thanks for the info. We were so curious about what happened - and just thankful it is gone. We were at our place this wkend. Looks like they are slowly removing the rubble. We are looking forward to a great summer at the lake - if only the water sticks around! Take care!
