Another quick update

Another fun weekend with an hour or so on the boat. Caught a few spots and large mouth in the Sturdivant area. Had my wife and two year old with me so I didn't get to stay out too long. The fish hit rooster tail spinners. I was mostly using the red and white. Had one spot around 2 lbs... others were smaller. Nothing major but it was fun.
My son got interested in reeling the lure in so I spent some time casting for him and then letting him retrieve... seeing him have interest and learn to use the pole was better then any fishing I've ever done! What a blast. I can't wait till we try it again and catch a fish!

I didn't stay out for long because I discovered a big leak in my jonboat. Since I didn't feel much like wading, I parked it and caught catfish off of the pier instead.
