So why were we two feet deeper this time last year.

I bet they have let out 10 feet of water over the past two months. I hope we get to keep this weekends rain. They are practically full above and below us.

Thats not bad. Remember, the variance states that they are to be allowed to keep at 462 until I think it was April 17, then work toward 465. I didn't read them all but I think they had the same request for all the lakes. I haven't looked today but Martin was about the same yesterday.

We're really in excellent shape as opposed to the last 2 years. All we need is normal rain now.

Peace,

The last two years we were 2ft deeper and less than 6 inches from full.

a month ago Smith and Martin were both more than 10ft below full pool and now they are within 8 inches........

just me getting being beotchy cause i have not been to the lake in a few weeks.,,,,,,,

APCo is required to push downstream a minimum flow of I think 4650 cubic feet per second into the Alabama River and right now they are meeting this minimum flow requirement out of the Coosa Basin. And are holding back the water in most of the water in Martin till the headwaters of the Tallapoosa (Harris Lake or Lake Wedowee which ever you want to call it) is full.

Right now Harris is about 3 feet below full pool or thereabouts.

They could maintain us at 465 just as easy as they have maintained us 2.5ft below........... Most every other lake in our area is seeing near full levels,,,,,,,, I just dont understand why we (Logan) are left behind.............

Let's see .... are we a "run of the river lake " or a "reservoir lake" ......THIS WEEK???? It seems to change names as APCO sees fit for their benifit.
