Well, as we discussed below, the lake has been this high but it didn't stay long.
This my 3rd summer here and the first time I have seen the water make it to full pool. I am so relieved that I built my dock to the proper height. The seawall work is pretty close to what I wanted and now that I can see what it looks like, I can make the necessary adjustments this fall. Just driving around the lake it looks beautiful. I can't wait to get out tomorrow and really enjoy it. We have truly been blessed!
For you guys that have been around, I now know why you've stayed here through the drought times. I used to keep a boat on Martin and while it is beautiful, big and spacious and all of that. This lake is just down right perfect when it gets full.
Peace, <>< TC

Honestly speaking I keep the place we go to up for my parents and because where we are is a terrific place for my grandkids to play in the water, but Logan Martin is way busier than I care for personally.
speaking for myself I would ,if I could afford it ,rather have a place on the Warrior River or downstream on Mitchell, but thats just me. My wife enjoys where we are and we have the greatest neighbors so I imagine I will continue to keep it up as long as they enjoy it.
Needs more weeeeeeeeeeeeds LOL

I kinda like it here too, but if I could dream my favorite lake to live on would be Lake Keowee in South Carolina. I spent a week there once , it is cryatal clear. Some of the creeks go for miles up through the mountains.
