We are new to the lake. Our place is upstream (other side of the bridge from) Kowiliga and on the other side of the lake from the Marina. We have only played around at fishing so far, but I need a surefire spot to catch anything in order to get my six year old hooked on fishing. One more outing with no bites and I am afraid he is going to lose interest. Can anyone suggest a spot nearby where he can get hooked up on even some bream or cats? Any help would be much appreciated.

Get one of these and you will create your own fishing spot. My twin boys are 3 and they go nuts over this light at night.

You can find his lights on Ebay. I paid $236.00 for mine.
