Does anyone know what type of sea doo lift an older lady can get her sea doo off of without any help?

I think really you need to look at the how much you want to pay. Are you looking for a lift that will actually pull the doo out of the water? If so I am pretty sure they are all simple to use getting on and off. Only option would be the motor or hand crank to lift from water.

The plastic pieces you park on I think have rollers to get on and off. I have never tried to get on or off but would be curious because I may try and get two of those someday....

I have looked any where from $1,500. to $2,000.00. They are not inexpensive.I have not seen any used ones listed in th paper.

Theres usually an add in the back of the Coosa Valley Electric Co-Op magazine advertising some that I think are what you want. You pull the Sea Doo up on it and then run the engine for a minute or so. The Sea Doo actually pumps the water out of the lift and then you step off. To get in the water, just lift the valve and the lift fills with water. I have seen and used these but it's been some years ago and it wasn't on a lake that the level changed much on.

Hope that helps.

Peace,

we just put in 2 of the floating drive-on types but they are hard to pull the PWC off of. I'm not too enthused about them. Cost $4,000 for 2 of them big enough for our 3-person Yamaha FX Cruisers. This type isnt what you want.

We installed the same kind of Sea Doo lift that buddyb has. It is hard to pull the Sea Doo off and I would not recommend it for anyone with little to no upper arm strength. I am not very strong and so I stuggle with taking it off the lift...

I really appreciate all the info you guys are giving me. It seems everyone is in the same boat. Well I'm still looking and even trying to come up with a way to build my own. If I come up with anything I will post it. THANKS Beverly

I finally bought a leisure lift and it is great all I have to do is get on and pull a little leaver. Anyone interested is more than welcome to come by and try mine. It will not hold anything as large as a GTX , but it works great for me. Beverly
