Your best bet will be night fishing near dock lights or submerged "Green Monster" lights.

Thanks, I may have to try that. I have been down many times before and had some luck trolling points and the humps out where Blue Creek enters the main lake. It's a big lake. I was hoping that someone might tell me a few general areas where the fish are hanging or are usually hanging in June, besides what I already no.

Sorry, I should have said what I already know, of course.

Friday evening, there were stripers chasing shad mixed in with spots where Triple Branches (Triple Creek, in error on the map),enters Blue Creek. Caught one by accident fishing for spots. (about 9 pounds).

Thanks guy, I appreciate the info. How far up Blue creek is that? I don't have my Lake Martin map here.

On the left before you go around the island to go to Chuck's, and before you get to Dead Timbers.

Thanks! I'll be sure to check it out. Local knowledge is worth a bunch to me because the topo map of the supposed bottom of Lake Martin is WOEFULLY inaccurate! I found the humps out where Blue Creek empties in to the main lake by accident while motoring back from the dam one day. I was flying along on the west side of the islands down by Chimney rock and when I turned right after passing one I was over the old channel in DEEP water. The next thing I know the depth shot up to 38'. I turned around to take a look and marked some nice fish around that hump so I started trolling. The first time over the hump I caught about a 4-5 lb striper. The second time I caught one around 8 or so. The third time something hit and never turned or stopped peeling line. I fought it for about for maybe 2-3 minutes and never gained any line, and the line stopped pulling. I motored straight vertical over my line and I was in 58' of water and the fish had wrapped me around a snag, so it and I parted ways. Man, what a rush! The next day I caught a 5 pounder and then hooked into a fish that felt much larger, but when I got it to the boat it was hybrid of maybe 9-10 lbs. The treble hooks on the lure were barely hanging on because of the pressure the fish and I had applied to each other and it was still full of fight. Every time I tried to grab it, it started shaking and I pulled my hand away from the hooks. After about a minute of that it finally broke free. I was PO'ed but it was my own fault for not having a net. I started carrying a BIG one after that!

Those humps AREN'T on the map!
