I am looking into the cost of installing heat exchangers on both my engines. The question I have is, what additional water pump will I need (other than the existing sea water pump)... Just a typical auto water pump?

PP your engines already have circulating pump.(auto type pump).Mercruser offer kits depending on engine size .They consist of heat exchanger,coolant resavoir, hoses and all fittings.

So you are saying there are two pumps per engine already? One external and one internal?
