I realize I am going to appear incredibly ignorant, but I have to ask this question. Is the kill switch the little toggle switch under my gear shift which if I toggle it down, the boat will not start?

If yes, is there a lanyard thing that attaches directly to the toggle switch or do I have to install a real kill switch. Am confused or stupid but the police are checking for these things and I don't have one.

thanks

That is no stupid question. But, Yes, that is your kill switch. Normally it flips up into a three sided box (so to speak). Your lanyard has an oval shaped, or round ring of sorts that slides on the switch pole, and stays around it when flipped up into the little three sided box. If you fall out, the lanyard pulls on the ring and the switch flips down and your engine stops. That is about the best way I can explain it by typing. If you care to discuss it further, call me on cell number. 334-657-4349. I'll tell you how to make one, if you can't find one.
Steve

JIM, heck... I did the best I could. How about a little break here? I am going off memory, and I have none left... LOL. I am just worried about the interputation of a 3 sided box. Maybe I should walk out to the shop and look at one.....

Why is jim allowed to continually attack other members and troll? I am pretty sure that is a violoation of the rules for which others have been 'banned'.

Jim - if you are going to try to make fun of me, you've got to do a better job than that.......you just feel like a little gnat buzzing around my head.

As useless and irratating as gnats are, they at least serve a purpose and have a place in the food chain. Jim by virtue of being born a homo sapien with millions of years of physical and social evolution in his genes gets to sit attop the food chain, while contributing nothing to society. Had he been born a simpler primate, I feel certain he would have been culled at birth.

I was not disrespectful to no one in this thread. All I said, it was a tough question. And, L T L & Cat was good buddies ( which they are), and L T L is a Genus (IMHO), just ask him.

You just need a little looser underwear to enjoy his off-beat humor.
