Recently purchased used pontoon. Looking at it from the rear, the left side sits down in the water deeper than the right side. First thought is must have water in left pontoon. Other than drilling a hole, is there a way to determine if this is the problem? If it does have water in it, is there a way to get it out without drilling? Thanks for your advice.

Each pontoon should have a drain plug in the rear. If not, you might wish to have one installed by a professional. Either way, is your gas tank on the left side? How much weight do you have stowed on that side compared to the right? Is most of the furniture weight on the left? Does it hamper performance? Just some thoughts before you become too concerned. Enjoy your new toy!!

Thanks. Yes, the gas tank is on that side but it leans even when there is not much gas in the tank. It does not hamper performance, just worries me. We are enjoying it though. Thanks again for your response.

Easy answer....obviously there has to be a hole or opening it there is water in the pontoon. Put it on a trailer and watch for the water leaking out. You can Google the subect and there are suggestions for filling the hole.
