First I would like to say the SEC is looking great. There is going to be alot of good games being played this seaeson. That is SEC on SEC games. I also say awesome job to the freshmen players of ALABAMA stepping up and makeing alot of great plays. Offense line held up great even when # 71 Andre Smith stepped out the last quarter. I admit I was a little worried about the Defense before the game started, but they stepped up at played a heck of a game. ALABAMA is looking good and it is only going to get better.

By the way how did Tommy Teletubby and the Auburn Kittens do. And did they look good or sloppy. Didn't get to thier game. All I heard was they won.

One game does not a season make...but what a breath of fresh air. The Tide was very well prepared. I would say the coaching staff has coached them up pretty good to this point. They made a limited number of mistakes. Check out this coaching staff...not bad.

Thinking of going to T-Town next weekend and seeing the game since I'm off from work. It feels good to win that game. Only two games left to tweek out the bugs and then on to Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky which I got tickets for, then a week off.

As the Clemson game drew to a close last night, my one thought was that that was the first seemingly well-prepared and 90+ per cent consistent game I have seen from the Tide in a LONG time, and on both sides of the ball to boot. Even allowing for the (likely-seeming) possibility that Clemson won't turn out to be anything like a #9 team this year, Bama played very well for 60 minutes (except for one kickoff return). I'm pumped!

It's doesn't get much better than this past weekend.
In Atlanta on Saturday to watch the Tide Roll and back at Lake Martin Sunday afternoon and Monday to enjoy the beautiful FULL lake.

Yea...not a bad weekend...even with the wind. My son went to the game too. His voice started coming back Monday. He said it was loud.

The atmosphere was great.
It was like the old days at the Alabama/Auburn game in Birmingham.
The stadium was split almost exactly in half. That is until early in the 4th quarter when the Clemson faithful started heading for the doors.
