I have a Harris-Kayot deck boat that is about 10 years old. I have some wear and tear on the seats (I do not keep it covered like I should) and will need replacements in the near future. What are the options? Cat, do you do this kind of work? Also, I will probably want to get a new paint job in a year or two. Who does this kind of work? Thanks

Coach Kraft Upholstery- 676 Dean Circle, Tallassee, Al 36078 - 334/283-6759 Actually right off 229 at Kent. John Mason, owner. I have personally used him to put new floor in a 94 caravelle and upholstered seat, along with rebuilding back deck and seat frame. (I no longer have this boat, but not his fault). Excellent work and a very nice man. Check out his web page from Lake Martin listing. Good luck.

Normally we do work like this during the winter as projects. You would be surprised what you can accomplish without painting. We restored a 1977 Cobalt last year that is gorgeous. I'll email his name and number as reference if you like. Unless the boat is just in terrible condition, let us take all the upholstery out. While it's out we can wet sand/buff/polish (Generally make a big mess inside and out), then clean the boat back up and put the new upholstery/carpet etc in. It beats painting most of the time, although sometimes a little paint is needed. We would love to do it for you! Do you have my Number? I'll be at the shop until around 8pm. tonight 334.358.2838, or cell is 334.657.4349.
Thanks for your interest.
Steve
