WEEK 9: With UCFsporting a 5 point halftime lead with 21.5 in the hole, JIMBOB appeared to have smooth sailing....but NOOOOOO.....all those going with the points had defeat snatched from the jaws of victory thanks to some sorry, sorry second half play by UCF. Consequently, the amazing MAVERICK took the top spot by virtue of having a better tiebreaker score than TALISI ( he's baaaaack). Both tallied 13 points. Out of nowhere came BAMABOB3 and slipped into the trifecta via the tiebreaker with 12 points. Also nailing 12 big'uns were MADDOG, JLAZC, and JIMBOB finishing in that order via the tiebreaker score. MAVERICK also trimmed one point off BAMABOB3's composite total and several others have inched up enough to be in striking range. Now on to WEEK 10 and AMEN CORNER!!

I must have been drunk or something like that when I picked Tulsa - LOL.

Have to say this has been a lot of fun and really changed the way I keep up with games week to week. Sort of reminds me of my college days and betting with the local bookie, made the weekly unimportant games important and fun to follow.

Great job Bigfoot !!!!!! You missed your calling I enjoy your weekly comments.

Jes kiddin. Dittos on the great job by BigFoot. This does make all the games more interesting. One small problem........ my wife found my Pooltracker printout and both she and my son are convinced that I'm back to my college vices. I am having fun making myself look guilty.

The printout of my picks stays on the table or in my pocket all day on Saturday and I have downloaded a Sports Tracker program called Sportacular that updates every 30 seconds onto a Itouch where I can keep up with the scores. My wife does not seem to understand that its the hunt not shooting that makes the weekend more exciting. She does undersatnd that it does not cost anything but can't figure out my satisfaction when I do have a good day.
