I have a 16' jon boat w/ trailer and an 18 horse outboard. The motor is is very good shape but will need new fuel lines and fresh lubricates. The boat has a rotton wood inside the transom and the trailer needs tires and a good sandblasting. Otherwise, okay.
I have someone interested in purchasing the whole thing as is. Does anyone have an opinion of what it would be worth.

Well, I'd like to sell it. I have a interested buyer but no idea what would be fair in taking. I have no idea what would be fair if it were in good shape. So I guess it will sit.

Doesn't sound like it's worth much of anything and if it gets much worse you may have trouble giving it away. Get the guy to make you an offer; if your satisfied, take it. From what you have described, I wouldn't offer $50 because it would cost me more (in labor/ time and parts) to get everything up to snuff than it would to go out and buy a good used boat, motor, and trailer in working condition.
