The bite has been off for a couple of weeks due to wild weather fluctuations, wind, and stained water at the north end of the lake. As soon as conditions stabilize, head north and drop bait over schoolies.

If I had some spot tails I could have caught more stripes today (Wind Creek). But somebody is taking my neighbors spot tails out of his live well. Wonder who it could be?

Did catch 2 stripes, 3 large mouths and about 14 or so white bass in about 4 hours.

So lets just say we now know who is not the unlucky one. So has to be one of the others on the boat.

Sounds like y'all need to put a deer-cam on John's dock. Bait thievery should be a hanging offense in these parts.

Glad you caught some fish. I've had similar catches lately, but am ready for a 10 striper day.

We have you on the deer cam - LOL.

Was just teasing you, none of us care if you take the spot tails, but thought I would harass you about it as we were all having a good laugh yesterday morning about it.

Good luck as the stripes are out there, but still having a hard time finding them. Some here an there, but no large schools yesterday up in Wind Creek area.

If you find them let me know and I will pass along to the neighbors.

Also I am thinking about calling my brother in law and having his grandfather catch me about 100 or so 4" bream out of his pond. As every time I have used such I have caught a stripe or had one heck of a hit.
