Please fill the lake with all this rain we're getting now and keep it at full summer pool. We may not see rain like this again for a long time. No sense lowering the level now just to try to raise it later when it's not raining. We haven't seen full summer pool levels for so long, I think we "deserve" to see the lake full for a change.

They have pulled almost 2 foot off since it crest last Thursday. Almost a foot below summer pool.

Yep. And they'll keep pulling it down until it reaches the "prescribed winter pool level". Then they'll try to bring it back up during the dry season (with limited luck) and try to blame the lower than normal summer lake levels on a drought.

Over the years we have had some pretty high water in March. They try to maintain a certain level at any givin time to prevent flooding. I know it sure would be nice to have a more consistant level that would be more condusive to boating. I have been able to float a boat more then two thirds of the way up my property more than once in the last 11 years. The water can really come in fast. I know it's been low for a long time. just wait.
