Well, the 'boomers' would sooner stay away from the SEC and that QB they say would only be "4th best in their conference". Gators win 24-14 and BAMABOB successfully defended his title as TOP prognosticator ---but had to go to the tiebreaker with RHOGACAM to pull this one out. GENO held on to third place by nosing out SPEEDDRIVER via the tiebreaker. Over in the spreads pool, LAKNGULF blew everybody out of the water snagging an amazing 21 points out of the 34 games. LAKEDUDE and MAVERICK finished in a dead heat for 2nd place having the same TB score. SMITTY grabbed 3rd place after tieing with lakedude and mav but dropping back one on the tiebreaker. Congratulations to the top finishers in both pools...it has been fun and
hope all will be ready to play again when the MARCH MADNESS tournament hits in March.

Why do I get the feeling that BigFoot is like the smooth talking "hawker" at the State Fair who catches your attention as you walk by and says "Hey, cowboy, come on in and give it one shot for free"?

LakenGulf never thought of BigFoot that way, but now that you say that I think you just hit the nail in the head. And you have never even met BigFoot, but that is a great analogy of him.

Thanks, Smitty....somebody else mentioned a while back about a get together....I have only met a few on the forum--Mav, Rude, Feb, Lakeman, Hawk and a couple more...maybe we can work up a social hour soon...

It was a lot of fun picking the games. Great picks Mrs Bigfoot. I fugured the final score of the championship to be 27-24. We were both hi on the total points. There were several pretty big upsets in the bowls.

I am back now and will be around pretty much for a while....I can work in a niffers almost any time.....Saturday lunch would work for me...any other suggestions, comments?
