Has anyone had any history with flood insurance. It seems I am being forced into it with a refinance and the cost is pretty high from my regular insurance company and wondered if anyone had a company with good rates. Thanks for the help and I am missing some chairs around blue springs. And I know my grandson would never forgive me if I did not add the plastic owl from the dock is missing.

We have ours with Travelers (fortunately did not have to use it this time).
Our rates are low but it does depend upon which level of flood zone you
are in. The FEMA maps show that and the appraiser for your refi can
also tell you. If you are actually in a FEMA flood zone, you nor the mortgage
company have any choice, you must have the coverage. Hope this helps.
