Am I the only one that thinks we have had a generous amount of rainfall this winter? And they have not put the plub back in yet to get back to 462............

Effective - 2/17/2009

Due to continuing dry conditions, a variance has been approved to fill Logan Martin lake to elevation 462.00; this is 2 feet above its normal elevation for this time of year. Be aware that lake elevations are always subject to change, depending on conditions.

They are to busy counting their new rate increase on electricity like the $50.00 a month base fee INCREASE they surprised the small business with. Once they get that all counted maybe they will get back to work on the lake level.

Obama's plan to spread the wealth. Spread it from the small business to Alabama Power.

Has anyone paid their dock permit fee to fix what the (so called flood caused in damage?) I wrote the Governor and he pasted the buck, sending me a phone number of some big wheel in Al Power. If anyone would care to have it I will post it. I have a feeling that it is futle BUT!

This wealth was spread from the public service comission to Apco . I am ashamed to admit I have never really paid to much attention to who runs for that office but I will next time.

I knew Apco was getting a rate increase but I had no idea it would be a $50.00 monthly base rate increase. Thats $600.00 less a year I can put in the economy.

I honestly thought they had made a mistake on my bill. The month before I had used less power than the recent month. My bill was $50.00 more. So I called them to get it cleared up. Thats when I found out about the increase . I said to the Apco customer service rep I guess my only option is to pay it or have it turned off . His response was , I can help you with that too. So I can pay the extra $600.00 a year and like it or sit in the dark. Oh , and they already have another rate increase approved for 2010.
