Yea...I wouldn't have given them a snowball's chance in Alabama to even make the NIT but we got 3-4 inches Sunday and I think they could make the NIT, especially if they beat the stew out of Auburn tonight. Bama get's the Iron Bowl trophy back tonight finally. I hope it stays in T-Town for the next decade. Still not optomistic enough to get them to the big dance....but stranger things have happened, especially in the SEC tournament.

Did someone mention a cat? Speaking of something falling, What happened in T-town last night? Oh yea just another ballgame. Is this the year that we here in Alabama (both major schools) don't have a dog (cat) in the fight and just have to figure out what ACC,, Big Ten or another non football conference wins the sports event that occurs between the bowls and spring A day games. Just whoo will be the QB?

I let my optimism get away from me. Bama won 3 in a row including breaking the "haven't won on the road in 15+ games"...but they are back to being Bama now. I think Auburn and UAB have a chance for the big dance. Now I'm not sure Bama will even get to the NIT. Once they hire that 2 million $ coach they will improve. Someone slap me the next time I praise Alabama basketball.

After the games last night, the SEC may be lucky if three teams get in. The only wasy that AU does seems to be to win it all and i just don't see them doing that.
