Old crappie,tell me a fish story I haven't talk to you in a while.
Me and dad are talking about some trolling here soon,maybe on the lower pond since water is so muddy on north end of Martin.

Went crappie fishing Saturday in South Georgia - caught 2 jack, 2 warmouth, and 2 small bass. Saw 2 large gators that had probably eaten everything else. Lake Martin will be close to full this weekend and should be warmer with better crappie fishing than the lower pond. GET YOUR RED JIGS READY!

I appreciate the heads up. Do you think the water color will be fit to fish? That brush under our pier ought to be getting some
good water soon if not already. Chris added some brush also when he
cut that tree beside the boat house down.

Brown water is a boon this time of year. Fish the sunny shallow water stumps and brush in coves on the north side - especially if a "warm" wind is blowing out of the south. Saturday will be perfect. Stained water heats up faster than clear water. Used to slay um in early March when I fished Martin regularly. Get my phone number from your mother and call me.
