Hell you will not be able to keep up with me in that egg beater. I would hate to say you could not outrun a poon-toon eating bean dip. So you better be careful as I will be seeking you out on Saturday. - LOL.

Definitely see you on the water Saturday for sure !!!! Look for the party toon that will be us, as have friends coming down to celebrate 3 birthdays 2/20, 2/23 and 2/25.

Just look for a pontoon going about 50 mph with the sub woofer turned all the way up, 6 crazy middle agers on board and that will be us. Called middle age crisis - LOL.

Sounds like a good way to cure a middle-aged crisis. See you on the water Saturday - hopefully the mud will settle out up your way by then. Wave when you pass by at 50 mph with your hair on fire - I'll be going 2.8 mph dragging spoons. I ain't got no sub woofer.

Putting on the new electronics (LCX27c) on the bass boat this afternoon and back in the boat house tomorrow. Installation looks to be straightforward, but the user manual is a scary movie.. Guess best way learn it is the old fashion way, use it.. Where are y'all fishing this weekend?? Will probably head back to the Elkahatchie in a 21' burgundy Astro F/S, Merc 200 black max.. 2 old guys with a lot of rods and a cooler.. good luck.. Terry Burke

Terry,
There were fish in Elkahattchie last weekend, so that would be a good place to check. However, after that torrent we had last weekend, all bets are off. I'm hoping there will be some big schools near the river channel - I suspect it may take a while to find them. Good luck.

Hey Wes,
I'll be scouting the other end of the lake this weekend. With all of the changes in the lake condition (level, clarity, temp) it may take a while to find 'em back.
I still owe you a trip so I'll let you know if and where I locate stripes.

Thanks Jeff - I'm looking forward to it. I'll be fishing 5 days over the next week - hopefully I'll get on top of them at the north end. Then I'm taking the young one to see Mickey Mouse.

I can't come to the lake and play this week and already you are rubbing it in about what a great weekend it's going to be.

Hopefully StriperNut will catch a great white (7.50 x 16 whitewall)and Mav will loose his hat in the lake (blew off going too fast).
